Feminist Law aims to expose and discuss law from a feminist perspective through our academic-style articles, our podcast and our newsletter. We are a volunteer-based group, mainly composed of students, law graduates and young legal professionals although anyone is welcome to take part and contribute to our platform!
We define feminism as Feminism: the liberation of women, on the basis of sex, from the patriarchy and male violence.
The law has long shown to be gendered and biased; however, the law has the power to change this and our mission is to bring these issues to light and address them in a clear, educational and honest manner with you.
